M.A.Z.E. released sorta

Yesterday was the final presentation of our prototypes before a panel of industry figures, including Jordan Mechner and Benoît Sokal.

This presentation had to be some simulation of pitching the game to a publisher, and so gameplay, marketing details had to be provided in a clear manner. Also, the prototype had to be demoed the best way possible to prove the viability or the outstanding features of the original concept.

M.A.Z.E. was presented alongside four other student projects: Toy’Z, Territoire, Grievous Flesh and Fruth.

This marks the end of my “student” period, as I’m leaving for Paris next week to intern at Ubisoft Montreuil. I guess that’s what I will blog about now :)
